Product description
What are LED panels?
An LED panel is a fixture that consists of a panel with built-in LEDs. It is a handy and energy-efficient replacement for fluorescent tubes that were previously installed in system ceilings with the necessary fixture.
The advantage of LED panels is that you only have to remove a panel from the system ceiling in order to place it.
You can also choose to mount this fixture on the ceiling using a frame or pendant set. This allows the light source to be used as a replacement for almost all fixtures, including conventional ceiling lamps and spots.
What are the advantages of this luminaire?
Compared to conventional fixtures, LED panels have several advantages. We list these for you below:
They are 70% more efficient than fluorescent lighting, which ensures enormous savings on your energy consumption.
The fixture has a long life; up to 70,000 burning hours, which is 3 to 4 times longer than TL.
Panels are less prone to defects, reducing replacement and maintenance costs.
They contain no toxic gases and can be recycled, which is good for the environment.
The luminaire can be installed easily and in three ways.
What types of LED panels are there and where can they be used?
The best way to make clear what types of LED panels there are, is to look at the glare degree of the luminaire (UGR). The UGR value tells you something about where a certain LED panel should be used. Below you will find the UGR values used:
UGR<16 (<15) - Ideally used in detailed work environments, such as technical drawing rooms, operating rooms, treatment rooms.
UGR<19 - This glare level is the most common and is perfect for use in study and office environments.
UGR<22 - For sophisticated industrial work, a UGR value of 22 is recommended.
UGR<25 - This UGR is used in various ways; from cloakrooms, stairwells, corridors and other common areas to working environments with average industrial work.
The degree of glare plays a major role in the productivity and well-being of employees, students and other attendees. After all, the longer you spend time in a room, the greater the chance that you will experience light nuisance. The correct UGR is therefore essential in many companies and institutions to prevent light pollution.
What color temperatures do LED panels have?
LED panels are available in different color temperatures: daylight white (6500K), cool white (4000K) and warm white (3000K). The first two are particularly suitable for use in work environments. Cool white luminaires come into their own in offices, schools and other public institutions / workplaces, where daylight white luminaires are mainly used in healthcare or detailed work environments. They support attention and show details that would be swallowed up in a warm white light color.
Warm white, on the other hand, is mainly used in rooms where a cozy and relaxed atmosphere is desired. Areas of application are, for example, hotels, the catering industry and general areas. Warm white light stimulates the body to relax and thus creates a pleasant atmosphere.
How much light does this fixture provide?
Many LED panels have a light output between 3000 Lumen and 4500 Lumen. At Any-Lamp, however, you will find fixtures with a light output between 1500 Lumen and 7200 Lumen. So you have the right lighting solution for every room! The specifications state which light output they generate for each light source.
Are dimmable LED panels available?
Yes, many of our LED panels are dimmable.
What dimensions are there?
These fixtures are available in various sizes, of which the LED panels 60x60 and the LED panels 120x30 are the most common.
